Rick Ross Denied Entry Into Buckingham Palace

After Being Denied Permit for Car Show, Rick Ross is Determined to Run for Mayor of the Georgia Town

After being denied a permit to host a car show in Fayetteville, GA, entrepreneurial recording artist, Rick Ross has stated that he wants to run for mayor of the small town.

On a recent Instagram Story, Ross was promoting a car and bike show he is planning on doing in Fayetteville on June 3. He seemed so excited that even after being denied the permit, he stated he planned on running for mayor next year. He was enthusiastically saying how much he loved the city and that played into the reason he wanted to become the mayor of the Georgia town.

Although, as reported by WSB-TV, neighbors in Ross’ town have complained to the Fayette County Board of Commissioners to deny the rapper a permit. City officials confirmed that the director of planning and zoning for Fayette County did so when they said that the planned event is not in compliance with the Fayette County Zoning Ordinance.

Yet, the artist went on his Instagram Live to tell his followers that his intention is to run for mayor.

“I love Fayetteville so much. Next year I’m running for mayor,” Ross says in the video clip. “That’s right. The boss Rick Ross running for mayor of Fayetteville.” He continued to promote his car show defying the order that denied the rapper a permit.

He then asked for some advice from “young students” partaking in legal studies.

“I wanna know how many votes did it actually take to vote in the mayor of Fayetteville. I need to know that ‘cause we gon’ become that. We gon’ make that happen, and we gonna have a good time. We gon’ give some people opportunities, we gon’ give some people raises and, of course, we gon’ have to clean some people out.”

In another clip, Ross states that he becomes “great during the challenges.” Based on what he posted, the challenge of becoming mayor is his next one. But, in the meantime, as he stated, the show must go on.
