CULVER CITY, CALIF., —June 29, 2026—Prime Video today announced Las Vegas Aces point guard Chelsea Gray will join WNBA on Prime as a player contributor, making select appearances during the 2026 WNBA season.

“Basketball is a big part of my life, and joining WNBA on Prime gives me a chance to share a different perspective with viewers,” said Gray. “I want those watching at home to experience what it’s like to be on the floor: the reads, the adjustments, and the small moments that can impact a game.”

Gray is one of the most decorated players in WNBA history, combining elite court vision and playmaking with a championship résumé that is unmatched among active players. The 11th overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft out of Duke University, Gray has built an impressive 12-year career and is currently the only active player on a WNBA roster to win four championships. Beyond the court, Gray has also built a growing media career, joining the Sacramento Kings’ broadcast team for the 2023-24 NBA season and working as a women’s college basketball analyst for the ACC Network.

“Chelsea’s résumé speaks for itself. Four championships. A Finals MVP. Two Olympic golds,” says Amina Hussein, Prime Video Sports Head of On-Air Talent and Development. “What excites us most is her authenticity and natural ability to connect with fans. Chelsea brings a genuine perspective that makes the game accessible to everyone, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to our team.”

Throughout the season, Gray will join the WNBA on Prime studio team to help highlight key storylines around the league, provide on-court insight and authentic analysis alongside previously announced studio host Allie Clifton and analysts Swin Cash, Cynthia Cooper, Lindsey Harding, Candace Parker, Teresa Weatherspoon, and Ty Young, as well as fellow player contributor Kelsey Plum. Prime Video’s studio coverage features WNBA on Prime Pregame, a 30-minute show prior to every game live from Amazon Studios in Culver City, The Half at halftime of each game, followed by WNBA Nightcap postgame. On doubleheader nights, Prime will bridge games with The Crossover, continuing live coverage from the studio.

Prime Video will provide exclusive coverage of the 2026 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship presented by Coinbase on Tuesday, June 30. Coverage tips off at 6:30 p.m. ET with WNBA on Prime Pregame live from Barclays Center, followed by Gray and the Las Vegas Aces vs New York Liberty at 7 p.m. ET.
