Mariah Dawne ‘Won’t Let Go’

The steamy tune, “WON’T LET GO” was written by Mariah Dawne and produced by Jamil Johnson with Phase Recording and Media. It will be globally available on all streaming platforms on February 20th, via the SRG-ILS/Virgin Music/UMG label imprint.

This February, Mariah Dawne embarks on her “Won’t Let Go” promotional tour with stops in, New York, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Chicago, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles. On February 25th, Mariah will perform at halftime show at the 2026 CIAA Basketball Tournament (Greek Night). Later this April, Mariah will star in the leading role of the new stage play production, “The Red Light,” taking place in her hometown of Shreveport, LA.

Mariah Dawne has been singing since the young age of 5 years old. The Church Choir, local talent shows, school plays, and Mom’s rigid vocal coaching were the bedrock of Mariah’s initial training. Born Mariah Dawne Hester in Shreveport, LA, she is an ‘old soul’ and animal lover with a flair for the arts- to include public speaking, painting, pottery, and dance. Strong in her faith in God, this NICU Nurse and proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated continued to sing and perform while pursuing her degree and serving in multiple scholarly roles. Mariah Dawne is also a prolific songwriter; as demonstrated by her initial Billboard R&B Top 30 charting release – ‘Material Girl’.
