Trailer Released For Good Burger 2 Starring Kenan Thompson And Kel Mitchell
A popular pair has reunited to return to roles that they popularized in the 1990s on the hit comedy sketch series on Nickelodeon, “All That.”
Paramount + has released the trailer for the comedy sequel that is featuring Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell, “Good Burger 2.” The film will premiere on the streaming network on Wednesday, November 22, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada. The following day, on Thursday, November 23, viewers in the UK and Australia will have access to the movie. It will then be released into other international markets after that.
The original movie, which came out in theaters on July 25, 1997, was based on a regular sketch that was featured on the series, “All That.”
The plot of the sequel reunites the two employees of Good Burger, Dexter Reed (Thompson) and cashier Ed (Kel Mitchell) where Reed, is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed makes arrangements for Reed to return to Good Burger for his old job. The pair finds out that the corporation that owns Good Burger has made plans to open Mega Good Burger where the employees are replaced with identical-looking robots.
Both Thompson and Mitchell spoke to EntertainmentWeekly earlier this year in March about coming back together for the sequel.
“Man, it is such a blessing,” said Mitchell. “It’s been an amazing journey for both of us. I don’t think we thought that we would be going back and doing Good Burger at this point, which is so beautiful and it has a special place in people’s hearts.”
Thompson adds, “It is such a blessing to be able to be working with my brother again. He’s one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. When we spend hours upon hours upon hours, it’s just all laughs and good times. And I’m really excited to open this new chapter up — this reunited adventure we are going to go on together.”
