HIS 12TH CAREER # 1, THE MOST EVER BY A MALE ARTIST

FANS RAVE OVER HIM AS ERIC CROPPER ON HULU’S “REASONABLE DOUBT”

(Los Angeles, CA, October 26, 2026) Three weeks in, and radio is not letting go of Tank. His single “Yes” holds the #1 spot on Billboard’s Adult R&B Airplay chart for a third consecutive week, extending a run that already made history as his 12th career chart topper. The single also topped the Mediabase Adult R&B Airplay chart. With the milestone, Tank passed Charlie Wilson for the most #1s by a male artist in the chart’s history. Among all artists, only Alicia Keys, with 14, has more.

“Yes,” which interpolates Floetry‘s beloved “Say Yes,” is the latest single from Tank‘s new album EXPERIENCE, out now via R&B Money/BMG. The chart-topper caps a landmark year that already includes his 11th #1 with “Control,” a viral Verzuz moment, his Broadway debut in Alicia Keys‘ Hell’s Kitchen, and a starring role on television.

On screen, Tank stars as series regular Eric Cropper in Season 4 of Hulu‘s hit drama Reasonable Doubt, which premiered October 6 on Hulu and Disney+ and continues with new episodes each Tuesday. Each new episode reveals more about Cropper, and Tank keeps peeling back layers of the charming, calculating music mogul at the center of the season’s biggest case. Audiences and critics alike have taken notice.

What the press is saying:
“The man is clearly having the time of his life in this role.” (TV Fanatic)

“Of the newcomers, Tank is the one getting the loudest applause online for his believable turn as Eric Cropper…Some have even theorised (SIC) that he’s either playing a trumped-up version of himself or borrowing from the insight he’s gained decades into a successful career in the American music industry.” (The Citizen)

“Who knew the season-stealer would be this brash music mogul played by a seasoned musician with a legitimate flair for the dramatic? Well-played.” (TV Fanatic)

“He’s entitled, calculating and convinced the rules don’t apply to him. And I’m telling you, that character feels a little TOO believable.” (Revelence)

What the fans are saying:
On Facebook, Jas Duggan wrote, “I don’t think Tank is acting, it’s giving he act like Eric Cropper in real life.” On Threads, @peachytae asked followers, “Are we all in agreement that Tank is acting his ass off?” and the post drew hundreds of likes.

Tank is currently on the road with Usher and Chris Brown on The R&B Tour: Raymond and Brown, and this holiday season he stars opposite Fantasia as the leads of Tyler Perry’s The Gospel of Christmas on Netflix.
