The Café Mocha radio show affectionately known as ‘Radio from a Woman’s Perspective’ that airs Saturday mornings from 7- 9am on WHUR 96.3 will hosts its 2nd annual Salute Her: Beauty of Diversity Awards presented by Toyota Green Initiative. Celebrating a diverse array of women who are making a difference in their respective communities, nine outstanding women will be honored at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Built on the concept of women helping other women grow through shared experiences, the Awards luncheon will host the ORS Hair Care #NoStereotypes panel and support local domestic violence shelters via the Mocha Cares Foundation.
