Morace Landy and Elaine P Allen Landy Discuss Latest R&B Showcase, Vybe Vault RnB

There’s a new R&B showcase in New York City that is destined to cause a shift for artists who have the necessary talent and hustle to make it in the music industry but don’t have the numbers that these labels look for when “scouting” new acts. The premise for this new platform, Vybe Vault RnB, is a groundbreaking live talent showcase for unsigned talent that was started by music industry veteran Morace Landy and fitness and wellness author, Elaine P. Allen Landy (The Ageless Athlete).

The initial showcase took place earlier this year in May and was met with enthusiasm from the audience and participants that it warranted the pair to make sure this is something that will continue to grow and prosper. With the plans to make this a quarterly event and take it to different states and regions, the next one takes place on September 4th, 2024, at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn, NY.

The winner of the competition will take home a $5,000 gift certificate from Sweetwater.com to set up their own home recording studio setup. They will also receive a position in Vybe Vault RnB’s prestigious Artist Mentorship Program (With the chance to be mentored by the likes of artists like Fat Joe, and Eric Bellinger and top executives like Grammy Award-winning producer Troy Taylor). The winner will be judged by a panel of industry executives and for the final round, the live audience will participate in picking the person they feel is the best talent or at least gave the best performance.

The Industry Cosign got the opportunity to speak to the purveyors of Vybe Vault RnB and discussed the purpose of the platform, the road that got the Landys here, and the expectations they have for the platform as it grows.

Morace has an impressive resume as he worked with labels such as Profile Records, Warner Bros./Reprise, Polygram/Island Records, Epic, and Atlantic Records working in marketing and promotions. Having the opportunity to work with some celebrated artists like JAY-Z, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross, Babyface, T.I., Fat Joe, Ciara, Tyga, Will Smith, Trey Songz, Missy Elliott, Robin Thicke and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Young Dolph, Shaboozey, just to name a bunch.

He and his wife, Elaine run their company, Evolution3.
