Marshawn Lynch’s Beast Mode Partners With Gracie Carvalho

Beast Mode, the fashion and lifestyle brand of Marshawn Lynch, announced the launch of Gracie x Beast Mode, a women’s fitness and workout collection. Model Gracie Carvalho, represented by The Lions and widely recognized for her work with Victoria’s Secret, was hand-picked by Lynch to be his first brand collaborator.
In addition to walking in two Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows, the Brazilian-born Carvalho has starred as the face of DKNY Jeans, BCBG, Tommy Hilfiger and Jill Stuart, has worked for brands such as GAP and Express, and has been featured on the cover of Vogue Brazil. Carvalho’s luxury brand pedigree includes walking in shows for Burberry, Miu Miu, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, Diane von Furstenberg, Stella McCartney and Caroline Herrara. In contrast, Lynch has run (and sometimes walked) into numerous end zones against many of the NFL’s top defenses during his 10-year career, before retiring in 2016 as a Seattle Seahawk and Super Bowl Champion.
Lynch and Carvalho were introduced back in spring 2016, shortly after the first Beast Mode store opened in Lynch’s hometown, Oakland, CA. The two spent time comparing notes about their respective workout routines, and learning more about each other’s core values and upbringing. It became evident to Lynch that Carvalho would make for the perfect Beast Mode brand ambassador and collaborator.
“The Gracie x Beast Mode collection is about capturing the purity of form that unleashes the powerful movements of Muay Thai,” said Carvalho. “With Beast Mode and Marshawn Lynch, we worked piece-by-piece to create a line that finds this power and freedom of movement in a beautiful style.”
Inspired by Carvalho’s passion for Muay Thai, or Thai boxing, the Gracie x Beast Mode capsule collection features special items such as the Knockout Crop Top, Jab Crop Top, Muay Thai Short, Knockout Bralette and Satin Bomber, as well as a mix of tanks, leggings, hoodies and warm up joggers. The line is size inclusive ranging from women’s XS to 2XL. The collection’s brand logo designed specifically for Carvalho was created by Beast Mode Creative Director Christopher Bevans. Bevans, who is also the Creative Director of his own brand, Dyne, designed the entire capsule with Lynch and Carvalho’s input.
