(NEW ORLEANS – April 7, 2026) – Live Nation Urban, digital creator and entrepreneur Keith Lee today announced a major new initiative for the inaugural FamiLee Day festival: all participating food vendors will pay absolutely no fees to take part in the event.

Set for May 16 at New Orleans’ UNO Lakefront, FamiLee Day is rooted in a mission to celebrate community while directly supporting independently owned restaurants. By eliminating vendor fees entirely, the festival removes a key financial barrier, creating greater access and economic opportunity for local culinary businesses.

“FamiLee Day is rooted in creating real opportunities for local businesses,” said Keith Lee. “By eliminating vendor fees, we’re prioritizing the success of our partners and ensuring they can fully benefit from the exposure, community engagement, and economic impact the festival is designed to generate.”

The festival will feature a curated food village led by Keith Lee, highlighting standout local vendors including Thistle & Rye, Velvet Grain, Salt + Sage, Iron Kettle, Copper Root, and more, all able to participate without cost.

In addition to its culinary programming, FamiLee Day will offer a full day of live entertainment and family-friendly experiences. The event will be hosted by NAACP Image Award–winning comedian Kevin ‘KevOnStage’ Fredericks, and feature performances by Kirk Franklin, Mannie Fresh, Tobe Nwigwe, Andra Day, and more. Beloved children’s entertainment brand Gracie’s Corner has also been added to the lineup, expanding the festival’s offerings for families and younger audiences.

Attendees can enjoy carnival rides, a family obstacle course, and interactive experiences designed to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all ages. Reflecting strong demand, VIP tickets for FamiLee Day are already completely sold out, underscoring the excitement surrounding the festival’s debut.
