Just slightly over 2 months later, “WOPTOBER” is the follow up album to Gucci’s highly anticipated “EVERYBODY LOOKING” – his first studio album in half a decade – available now in stores, and all DSPs and streaming services.  “EVERYBODY LOOKING” was recorded in Atlanta over six days immediately following Gucci’s early release from prison last May.  Due to an overwhelming response from his fans on the release of “1st Day Out Tha Feds,” Gucci decided to surprise supporters with a brand new album he recorded while on home confinement. The album is produced by Mike WiLL Made-It (Future, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign) and Zaytoven (Usher, Nicki Minaj), with additional production from Murda Beatz (Migos, Young Thug), Marz & Swae Lee (Rae Sremmurd, Beyoncé), Pluss (Beyoncé, Rae Sremmurd), Will A Fool (Future, Drake), and multiple GRAMMY® Award nominee Christopher “Drumma Boy” Gholson (see attached tracklisting).

Since the release of “EVERYBODY LOOKING,” Gucci has been keeping himself busy; he most recently hit the stage at the star studded 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, the performance is set to air on October 4th. He has additionally been featured on the cover of The FADER’s Fall Fashion Issue and premiered his “Gucci Please” video with VOGUE in addition to his extremely viral Q&A. Undoubtedly one of hip-hop’s most prolific and admired artists of his generation, Gucci has been incredibly productive since his long incarceration; this further highlighted in a major profile piece in the New York Times. Since his release, Gucci has performed at a sold out “Welcome Home Party” at Atlanta’s Mansion Elan; appeared in a recent promo video for SUPREME; and contributed to the blockbuster new single, “Champions,” performed by Kanye West, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Yo Gotti, Quavo & Desiigner. As if that weren’t enough, Gucci was further greeted upon release with news of three new RIAA gold sales certifications for his classic 2009 album, “THE STATE VS. RADRIC DAVIS’ and its two hit singles, “Wasted” and “Spotlight (Feat. Usher).”

Gucci has returned with unparalleled gusto, and as he continues to crank out content, he continues to transcend the bounds of his genre; showing a wider audience why the name Gucci Mane carries the weight it does. Now officially off house arrest, he is a legend reborn and is poised for greatness. To celebrate the anticipated release of “WOPTOBER,” Gucci will be hitting the road for a slew of live performance dates, details forthcoming.
