Atlantic recording artist Gucci Mane has announced a major homecoming concert, “Gucci & Friends,” his first live performance since his early release last month. The iconic rapper will celebrate with a star-studded concert extravaganza, slated for July 22nd at Atlanta, GA’s world renowned Fox Theatre. An array of surprise special guests are expected.  Tickets will be released to the general public on Friday, June 24th at 10 AM ET (fan pre-sales begin Thursday, June 23rd at 10am ET). Check foxtheatre.org/shows-and-events for further ticketing information.

Gucci commemorated his release with a new track, “First Day Out Tha Feds,” which is available now at all DSPs and streaming services. Produced by frequent collaborator Mike WiLL Made-It (Future, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign), the track proved an immediate smash, earning close to 1 million SoundCloud plays within the first 12 hours of its May 27th release.

“First Day Out Tha Feds” has also drawn unanimous critical acclaim, with Pitchfork naming it as “Best New Track,” praising Gucci’s “love of language, his onomatopoeic ad-libs, (and) his ability to channel joy.” “Gucci proves he’s still the wordsmith fans fell in love with during the ‘Lemonade’ era,” raved Entertainment Weekly, while Hot New Hip Hop noted, “His unique charisma is as strong as its ever been, and it sounds like he’s just getting started.” “First Day Out Tha Feds” “finds Gucci in a vengeful, score-settling mode,” declared Stereogum. “It’s a great song, and it’s going to put a whole lot of people on notice.”

“Back On Road (Feat. Drake)” followed a week later, heralded by a world premiere via Drake’s OVO Sound Radio, broadcasting live on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio. As if that weren’t enough, Gucci is among the superstars contributing to the blockbuster new single, “Champions,” performed by Kanye West, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Yo Gotti, Quavo & Desiigner.

Gucci was greeted upon release with news of three new RIAA gold sales certifications for his classic 2009 album, “THE STATE VS. RADRIC DAVIS’ and its two hit singles, “Wasted” and “Spotlight (Feat. Usher).”

Widely ranked among the most gifted rappers of his generation, Gucci has been incredibly productive despite his long incarceration, unleashing a string of mixtapes including April’s 36-track “MEAL TICKET.” Recent weeks have seen him return to the recording studio alongside his longtime producer, GRAMMY® Award-winner Zaytoven (Usher, Nicki Minaj), while also announcing his new Delantic clothing line, with complete details to be revealed soon.
