DOPE BBQ Announces 50 Cent To Headline On August 30

DOPE BBQ is thrilled to announce that rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent will headline and host this year’s event at the Coney Island Art Wall in Brooklyn, NY, on August 30 from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM. This highly anticipated gathering promises an unforgettable experience with surprise performances, a variety of cultural foods, and engaging brand activations, all in celebration of entrepreneurship and culture.

As one of the most established events hosted by The General Public, a prominent Brooklyn-based event production agency, DOPE BBQ has earned its reputation for bringing communities together through curated experiences in food and music. Founded in 2015 by George Washington University alumni Patrice Laquinte and Lenworth James, DOPE BBQ has been hailed as New York City‘s premier cultural barbecue event. Recognized as the top cultural barbecue by Cassius, the event attracts over 3,000 attendees per year, boasting a 70% retention rate and a 40% increase in impressions and engagement. This year, with 50 Cent headlining, the event is set to deliver a unique and intimate performance.
