Dez Bryant Chastises Malika Andrews Over Perceived Bias In Not Immediately Reporting White NBA Player’s Alleged Relationship With A Minor
The NBA recently stated that it will investigate claims that a white player has been having a relationship with an underage girl. Former Dallas Cowboys player, Dez Bryant went on offense to lambast reporter Malika Andrews. His ire towards her is for not saying anything about the alleged relationship at the same speed she was quick to criticize a Black basketball player who was sued for wrongful death although he wasn’t charged with a crime (She did finally report on the alleged relationship).
According to a social media post by Bryant, after the news of Oklahoma City Thunder player, Josh Giddey possibly being involved with a minor after photos of the pair circulated online, Andrews did not even mention the news in her reporting. Yet, when Charlotte Hornets rookie, Brandon Miller was sued for wrongful death by the family of Jamea Harris, who was killed earlier this year in January at Miller’s former college, the University of Alabama, he says that she “went out” of her “way to crucify Brandon Miller on draft day over something he didn’t even do.”
In his post, he also tells her to not make it a “black or white” thing.
.@malika_andrews you went out your way to crucify Brandon Miller on draft day over something he didn’t even do
Why haven’t you said nothing about Josh Giddey
I advise you not to make this a black or white thing
Your parents really raised you wrong and just because you went…

He posted the message on Monday, Nov. 27 and another X user replied to his post by stating that she did report it on “NBA Today” on the same day of the post. He responded by saying that she did so due to public demand and that some athletes get the benefit of the doubt while others are “guilty until proven innocent.”
It was by public demand!
They felt the heat!
They waited forever to make a statement
Certain athletes get the privilege innocent till proven guilty
Certain athletes are guilty until proven innocent and by that time who gives a fuck
You already got the label on you
Ain’t… https://t.co/oD7AEs0hag

After responding to several people who replied to his messages, the former Cowboys wide receiver then went ten toes down to state that he will “forever” take the side of the athlete in the way some news is reported.
People who have never ever been on the other side of sports will never understand
Why should I give fuck when the narrative is built against us to fail?
I’m forever on the athlete side…Our love for what we do will eventually be used against us for someone else’s benefit ..

Andrews hasn’t publicly responded to Bryant’s accusation.
