| NOV. 28, 2023 (DALLAS) – To celebrate the launch of the 2023-24 City Edition: Trinity River Blues Collection, the Dallas Mavericks will host a “Trinity River Blues” Pregame Plaza Party and Postgame Concert with Leon Bridges, presented by Chime, this Friday, Dec. 1.
As tribute to the North Texas history-making musicians, the Dallas Mavericks collaborated with Grammy Award-winning recording artist and North Texas native Bridges on this year’s City Edition uniform – featuring a dark, moody color palette, Bridges’ rhythmic handwriting, and embossed guitar strings signifying the ties that bind the community together.
To commemorate this occasion, fans are invited to celebrate at the Pregame Plaza Party, from 4 – 6 p.m., with the Mavs ManiAACs, Mavs Breakers, D-Town Crew, MavsMan, Champ, Drumline and music from DJ Ekow. Also, local artist Jeremy Biggers will be on site to paint a live City Edition mural. A Trinity River Blues Pop-up Shop will feature an exclusive, limited-quantity collection, and a denim bar with a patch press to customize Mavs City Edition jackets.
Following the night’s Mavs vs. Grizzlies game, Bridges will perform a special concert for fans on the new City Edition court he helped design. Fans must have tickets to the game to stay for the concert. Visit mavs.com/city for tickets and details.
