Dennis Rodman’s Son, DJ Rodman Announces Transfer to USC, Joining LeBron James’ Son, Bronny on Basketball Team
The athletic genes that have emanated from the body of former Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons great, Dennis Rodman have been showing out as of late. His record-setting daughter, NSWL player Trinity Rodman is not the only offspring of the former rebounding menace who is making noise in the athletic world. His basketball-playing son, DJ Rodman has just announced his latest move that will bring more attention to him.
Shortly after Bronny James, son of a future NBA Hall of Famer, LeBon James, committed to joining the basketball team at the University of Southern California (USC), Rodman took to his Instagram account to announce that he will also be going to USC as a basketball player.

According to the University of Southern California Men’s Basketball team, USC men’s basketball head coach, Andy Enfield has announced that DJ will be joining the basketball team after transferring from Washington State.
This past season, DJ, who is 6-6 and plays the forward position averaged 9.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in 31 games, 30 of which he started. Rodman made more than a third (38.1 percent) of his three-point attempts (51-for-134) while shooting 79.2 percent from the free-throw line (61-for-77). Although he just graduated with a degree in Communications from Washington State, according to ESPN, he was allowed an extra year of eligibility (from the NCAA) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
USC now has two former NBA player’s sons on its roster after it was announced that Bronny is joining the team.
DJ’s sister, Trinity, is a renowned soccer player who has already broken several records in two short years in the NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League). Over the weekend, she became the youngest player in NWSL history to reach 10 goals and 10 assists.
Dj and Trinity’s father, the eclectic Dennis Rodman was a five-time NBA champion with the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons. One of the best rebounders of all time, he was also known for his off-the-court antics along with his many appearances on several reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother, Love Island, Celebrity Mole, and Celebrity Apprentice.
