Cicero Leak Brings HBCU Sports and Lifestyle Content to Television
Cicero Leak is helping bring HBCU sports and lifestyle content to television
(Raleigh, North Carolina) – Cicero Leak has made his name representing the likes of Shark Tank’s Daymond John, SiriusXM’s Sway Calloway, Grammy Award Winner Fantasia Barrino, Academy Award-nominated film director James Fargo, V-103’s Big Tigger and Bel-Air’s April Parker Jones. Along with representing some the most notable talent in the entertainment industry Leak is now focused on helping bring HBCU sports and lifestyle content to television.
Leak an HBCU alum (N.C. Central University) is the CEO and Founder of TLS Talent Agency and TLS Sports. His efforts have proved fruitful, orchestrating deals with networks and streaming platforms AspireTV, Fox Soul, Apple TV, Xumo, Tubi, Fubo TV, Samsung TV+ and YouTube TV highlighting HBCU athletes and HBCU alum for shows like HBCU Gameday’s No Huddle and Fastbreak, the docu-series Brick x Brick, lifestyle show HBCU 101 highlighting notable HBCU alumni and talk-show The Locker Room with LeVelle Moton.
“Working with Cicero and his team has provided a beneficial relationship for HBCU Gameday. His ability to navigate and negotiate the television landscape for our company has given us new platforms and revenue opportunities that we otherwise would not have been able to capitalize on,” says Tolly Carr, General Manager of HBCU Gameday.
This past May, Leak and his agency helped their client, N.C. Central University head men’s basketball coach Levelle Moton, along with Pittsburg Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin in hosting the Next Up Coaches Initiative. The goal of this conference was to advance the career of black and minority college basketball coaches through professional development, and interview skills, in addition to one-on-one conversations with Athletic Directors and individuals from search firms. TLS has now helped in securing a series order for Coach Moton’s new talk-show “The Locker Room” with network Fox Soul.
“During the pandemic there were a lot of people focused on helping HBCU’s, that went away quickly especially when Deion Sanders left Jackson State. The fight to level the playing field is personal to us, from highlighting HBCU sports and lifestyle content we plan to continue the efforts. There are a lot of HBCU alum doing remarkable things in the content space and our goal is to help everyone we can to get it out there.”
