The Universal Hip Hop Museum Launches KickStarter To Develop Virtual Museum – The Museum of The Future
The Universal Hip Hop Museum (UHHM) and the icons of Hip Hop announced today that they are raising funds via a rewards based crowd funding campaign on KickStarter to complete development of their revolutionary Virtual Museum dedicated to the preservation of Hip Hop Culture.
The Universal Hip Hop Museum’s funding goal is to raise $75,000 via KickStarter. Funds raised will produce a game changing Virtual Museum that will lead the cultural arts and education market in production of full immersive virtual reality exhibits and educational programming. The virtual museum will be the first of its kind designed for all mobile devices.
The virtual museum offers Hip Hop patrons a comprehensive analysis and multi-dimensional view of Hip Hop’s global evolution with immersive virtual reality exhibits produced by Framestore VR of New York City the world’s top virtual reality production studio. The UHHM is supported by Hip Hop Pioneers Kurtis Blow, Afrika Bambaataa, Krayzie Bone, Ice T, Grandwizzard Theodore, Q Tip, Doug E. Fresh, MC Sha Rock and other luminaries of Hip Hop’s 5 core elements.
The virtual museum will give patrons access to the world’s finest collection of Hip Hop artifacts, photography, artwork, research information, music and video content ever assembled about the culture’s 5 elements (Emceeing, Turntablism, Break Dancing, Graffiti and Knowledge). The virtual museum allows students to go on immersive tours of iconic places curated by Hip-Hop’s biggest stars!
