In the season seven premiere episode, The Shop co-hosts Maverick Carter and Paul Rivera are joined by back-to-back WNBA Champion, 6x WNBA All-Star and Naismith Hall of Famer Becky Hammon, actor, comedian, director and producer Cedric The Entertainer and artist, entrepreneur and investor Nelly.

Some episode highlights include:

  • Cedric The Entertainer addresses the viral Katt Williams interview from Club Shay Shay and shares why comedians in the Black community should support each other more

  • Becky Hammon talks about the coaching differences in the NBA vs. WNBA

  • Nelly and Cedric The Entertainer share fun anecdotes about working together on Country Grammar, Nelly’s debut studio album

  • Becky Hammon reveals whether she is looking to return to the NBA in the near future

  • Nelly discusses the importance of selling his masters and how it can help diversify his investment portfolio in the future

For Season 7, The Shop has launched their own YouTube channel where full episodes of the new season will be posted. Content and clips from the series will continue to be featured across The Shop’s social media channels (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook). GREY GOOSE will return as the presenting sponsor to continue to explore the unscripted and unforgettable moments of human connection over cocktails and conversation.
