For Halloween Shaquille O’Neal Reveals Emo Jimmy Butler Hairstyle

In October, during the NBA Media Day before the regular season started, Miami Heat player, Jimmy Butler debuted a new hairstyle that had basketball fans talking about the unexpected hairdo. TNT NBA analyst, Shaquille O’Neal replicated that same distinct look as his Halloween costume on Oct. 31.

The NBA Hall of Famer presented the look during the Halloween broadcast of “Inside the NBA” where his fellow hosts and former NBA players, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith took part in the annual tradition of dressing up.

Butler definitely shocked the media and basketball fans when he appeared with his hair in an “emo” style when he showed up at the press conference that took place that day.

After Shaq was seen in the hilarious rendition of Butler, fans on X, the site formerly known as Twitter also had things to say about the look.

In business news, Shaq’s Big Chicken restaurant is preparing to open its first traditional location in the Poconos in the state of Pennsylvania later this month according to The Morning Call.  The eatery will open its doors just before Thanksgiving in the Tannersville, Monroe County area. There is already a Big Chicken location in the Comcast Center in Philadelphia. The latest location is slated to open on Monday, Nov. 20.

BLACK ENTERPRISE previously reported that Big Chicken and H&D Group Investments are partnering to bring 20 franchise locations to several Michigan cities, including Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Lansing.

“Aside from its star-powered backing from Shaquille O’Neal, Big Chicken has a ‘wow’ factor that is rare to come by. I’ve had the privilege of trying a variety of menu offerings at different Big Chicken locations, and both the quality and flavor have been exceptional each time,” said an H&D Group Investments spokesperson. “It was an easy decision to bring the concept to Michigan, and we’re excited to be a part of the brand.”

Shaq already has restaurants in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Gilbert, Arizona, and Dayton, Ohio.
