Rod Wave Made $14M Just Off His Merchandise
Rod Wave revealed he has made more money relying on his business by taking over control of his own merchandising making $14 million
Florida recording artist Rod Wave recently revealed that he has made more money relying on his business acumen, when he was able to make $14 million by taking over control of his own merchandising.
The Ghetto Gospel rapper appeared on The Joe Budden Podcast and explained how he was able to make several million dollars with his merchandise instead of allowing someone else to do it. Making that decision has fattened his bank account as he confessed to making $200,000 from his merchandise when someone else was doing it, to making 70 times more by doing it himself.
“You can go buy your own clothes, and pay these folks to print it up, pay these folks to transport it, and we gonna do that” Rod Wave said. “And I went from $200,000 to $14 million just taking control of my own merch, see what I’m saying?”
He states that having a street hustling mindset can do wonders in the corporate world since you’ve already proven you can be successful on your own.
“If you can make it in the street, you can make it anywhere. If you can make a million dollars in the street illegally, your brain can work.”
He emphasizes the ability to create businesses and benefit, even as an artist, while helping others do the same from just his hustle as a recording artist. Other people around him have the ability to have other businesses as well, and everyone around him can win as well.
“It’s so many businesses inside of businesses. As an artist, I’m just on the stage rapping, and I’m caught up in the rockstar. And all these folk have businesses off of me.”
The rapper just announced that he is heading on the road to promote his latest album, “Last Lap,” which was released in 2024.
