Grammy Award nominated R&B recording artist and songwriter Leon Bridges has announced a second leg to his sold out headlining North American Good Thing Tour. Due to overwhelming demand, the newly scheduled U.S. shows roll out in the spring of 2019, following on the heels of Leon’s successful 2018 tour launched in support of his acclaimed sophomore album, Good Thing. The second leg of the Good Thing Tour kicks off on April 10th in Charlottesville, VA, and concludes on May 5 in Cleveland Ohio, with stops along the way in Miami Beach, Orlando, Memphis, and other U.S. cities (complete list of 2019 shows below). British singer/songwriter Jess Glynne will be providing support on the tour. The 2018 Good Thing Tour officially began June 9th and touched down in more than two dozen cities across the U.S. and included multiple sell-outs in noted locales including The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Tickets for the 2019 Good Thing Tour go on sale to the general public on October 5 at 10:00 AM local times. Fans can check with local box offices for availability and pricing. Fans can also visit leonbridges.com for additional information and updates.
Most recently, Leon released the official music video for his track “If It Feels Good (Then It Must Be),” produced by French music production company La Blogotheque (Arcade Fire, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake). The colorful clip was shot in Paris and showcases Leon’s gift for dance (he studied choreography in college). Watch the video here.
“If It Feels Good” is from Leon’s sophomore album, Good Thing, released globally on May 4th by Columbia Records. Good Thing is available for streaming and purchase here. The follow up to Leon’s critically acclaimed, award winning, Certified Gold debut album Coming Home, Good Thing was executive produced by Ricky Reed and Niles City Sound and produced by Ricky Reed. The new album has garnered praise from Rolling Stone, Esquire, Billboard, Newsweek and more, with Leon sharing breakout tracks including “Beyond,” “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand,” and “Bad Bad News” (which topped Triple A radio) prior to the release of “If It Feels Good.” Leon can next be seen in the Damien Chazelle directed film First Man, starring Ryan Gosling, in theatre on October 12th.
