Kobe Bryant and Daughter Laid to Rest Two Weeks After Fatal Helicopter Crash
Revered NBA legend Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old daughter Gianna were given burial to last Friday. The private funeral was held in Corona Del Mar, California, two weeks after the two perished in a helicopter crash with Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Cheste and pilot, Ara Zobayan. The group had been traveling to a basketball tournament at Kobe’s Mamba Sport Academy on January 26.

A public memorial will be had on February 24th at 10 am for fans of the fallen ball player at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles. Said mayor Eric Garcetti, “We are one city that believes in each other, believes in something bigger than ourselves. We will absolutely do everything to make sure that this is done so that everybody can come to it as well.”
