Flavor Flav Sings National Anthem At Milwaukee Bucks Home Opener

Flavor Flav Assists Olympian Who Didn’t Have Rent Money

Flavor Flav came to the rescue of an Olympic athlete when he found out that she didn’t have funds to pay her rent, so, he, along with Serena William’s husband, Alexis Ohanian gave the Olympian money to alleviate that hardship.

According to Page Six, Veronica Fraley, who is currently in Paris and will compete in the women’s discus throw competition on August 2 took to her X account with a message. It simply stated that her school has only sent her 75% of what she owes in rent, yet football players are paid enough that they can afford to purchase new cars and houses.

Her words did not go unnoticed as the former Public Enemy member responded with a promise to send her the funds so she wouldn’t have to worry about not paying what was owed.

The “911 is a Joke” frontman, who is actually in Paris for the Olympics responded with a screenshot of proof of payment (Without revealing her personal info or the amount sent) and even assured her he would go see her compete in person.

The good fortune espoused upon her didn’t stop at Flavor Flav. Ohanian also responded on X and offered to contribute in addition to Flav’s donation.

C’mon now! I’ll split it with @flavorfav

He publicly displayed the amount he sent to Fraley, which was $7,760.

Flav has lent his support to the USA Water Polo team after the team captain, Maggie Steffens took to social media asking for support for the team. The Associated Press reported that Flav worked out a deal that would name him a sponsor for the USA Water Polo team. The Public Enemy hypeman promised the team he’d be there for the support the team needs.

“As a girl dad and supporter of all women’s sports – imma personally sponsor you, my girl, whatever you need. And imma sponsor the whole team. That’s a FLAVOR FLAV promise.”
