“We Are The Music” is the first single release from Aneesa Strings’ anticipated EP, “The Calm.” The project will be released early in 2025. “WE ARE THE MUSIC” was written by Aneesa Al-Musawwir and produced by David Michael Ott. “I love how the song just came together; my keyboardist played a line in a minor key on a synth and it inspired me to scrap the bassline that I had already made and create a new one. I caught a vibe and turned it into a freestyle and eventually a chant about how “we are the music”, a pure example on how music can’t exist without it’s maker,” mentions Aneesa.

As Aneesa Strings continues to prepare for the forthcoming release of “The Calm” EP, fans will receive another offering from Aneesa’s vault, in the coming weeks, as she will be releasing her upcoming single, “Gramercy Place.” In the meantime, music lovers abroad can enter Aneesa’s world by catching her at one of her upcoming live shows;
