On Oct. 7, media mogul Charlamagne tha God and iHeartRadio celebrated the 5th anniversary of The Black Effect Podcast Network. The celebration marks half a decade of the network elevating and amplifying Black voices through thought-provoking and culturally resonant storytelling.
The evening brought together some of the network’s most influential hosts, including Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon (Reasonably Shady), Will Lucas (Black Tech Green Money), Carlos King (Reality with The King), and Jay Barnett (Just Heal with Dr. Jay), for a series of intimate fireside discussions moderated by Breakfast Club host, Loren LoRosa. Together, they reflected on the power of podcasting as a platform for community, connection, and culture, and how the Black Effect continues to create space for authentic Black perspectives.
