FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ROYCE 5’9” proves again that he is one of the best lyricists around with the release of THE BAR EXAM 4 on Tuesday, June 20th.

The mixtape takes “Pac Skit,” an audio exaltation from 2 Pac that sums up the type of content to expect from the 28-track banger in a nutshell.

Discussing the artistic integrity and quality of the lyricism that represents the culture, Pac says “it depends on the n*gga’s balls. If a n*gga got big nuts like me, it’s gonna get way harder, but if a n*gga got little nuts it’s gonna start getting back to a different type of rap: partying and f@cking and that type of sh*t because that’s what we talk about when they don’t let us talk about what we really want to talk about.”

Needless to say: ROYCE 5’9”’s got big balls.

On the mixtape’s opening track, “C. Delores,” Royce resurrects the now infamous C. Delores Tucker speech to congress regarding Hip Hop’s reckless usage of our first amendment right to free speech. Listen to “C. Delores” Here.

On “WAKE UP,” he shows serious concern with the state of Hip Hop asking “Hello Hip Hop what are you doing? Cuz nowadays you just all seem ruined.”

Royce explains, “I like how there are so many different groups representing the culture, I just want us all to be aware of how much this culture has provided for us and the fight we had to go through to get here. Hip Hop is a very powerful soundtrack to the world that gives testimony to our lives and it should be handled with care.”

The Bar Exam 4 is hosted by DJ Green Lantern and features select appearances by Slaughter House, Shady Records new signees: Westside Gunn and Conway, and Nick Grant.
