(Newark, New Jersey – September 26, 2025) — Newark get ready to experience an exceptional performance by Raphael Saadiq at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM. This highly regarded one-person show, entitled “No Bandwidth,” will highlight Saadiq’s extraordinary talents through a compelling blend of storytelling and musicianship. Attendees can anticipate an unforgettable evening filled with artistic excellence.
Saadiq’s No Bandwidth Tour reclaims the spotlight in a stripped-down, one-man performance, playing multiple instruments and weaving in powerful storytelling. The show reflects on three decades in the music industry and, most recently, paid tribute to his late brother, former bandmate D’Wayne Wiggins, during emotional performances in Oakland.
Throughout five groundbreaking solo albums, three GRAMMY Awards (and 22 additional nominations), and recognition from both the Academy Awards and the Golden Globes, Raphael Saadiq has cemented his status as a true icon of contemporary music. Between his work as an artist, producer, and songwriter, he has sold over 30 million records worldwide.
His remarkable journey began in 1984 when he was just 18 years old and already sharing the stage with music royalty, including Prince and Sheila E. His artistry flourished with the formation of Tony! Toni! Toné!, a group that helped define the sound of ’90s R&B. With unforgettable anthems like “If I Had No Loot” and “Anniversary,” Saadiq became a pivotal figure in shaping the landscape of the genre. His influence continued to grow as he embarked on a critically acclaimed solo career, debuting with the genre-defining album *Instant Vintage* in 2002.
