She is sharing her multi-talents as Author, Businesswoman, Designer, College Professor, Biochemist and owner of Priscy’s House of Design, Inc. presenting a “Booksigning & Fashion and Cosmetology Showcase” on Saturday, March 25, 2017 frp, 12 noon – 3:00 PM at El Camino Community College, Industry & Technology ITEC Building, 1st Floor, 16007 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA . Zna Portlock-Houston, Enterprenrship Mona May, Costume Designer will be the guest speaker.
Priscy will sign copies of her knowledgeable book, “Emergency Essentials for Starting Any Entreprenurship Business,” which explores pursuing your business through fundamentals of licensing, branding, incorporation, and guilds.
Attendees can also look forward to meeting many exhibitors and free nail polish changes and hand massages. The Event is free to the public and a Silent Auction will benefit a fashion design student trip to Japan in December 2018.
About Priscilla “Priscy” Ratcliff, M.A.Ed.
Born in Houston, Texas, Priscilla “Priscy” Ratcliff’s following of celebrities consist of actress Monica Calhoun (The Best Man series), Gospel singer Yolanda Adams, legendary model and actress Jane Kennedy-Overton and R&B group, The Isley Brothers to name a few. Ratcliff, is the chairperson for “Anointed To Succeed International”, a non-profit organization that sponsors educational tours in New York Fashion Week, London, Paris, Rome, the United Arab Emesis, Abu Dhabi & Dubai, for unserved teenagers and women. She is graduated of Texas Southern University, a licensed and ordained minister from The Ministry Training Institute, studied fashion at Cal State University, Long Beach, earned a Career Technical Teaching Education Credential in Business/Finance and Fashion/Interior Design, a Merit Teaching Credential from El Camino College, where she now is an instructor and introduced a new course in Fashion Merchandising Entrepreneurship at Otis College of Art and Design. Priscy completed her Master of Arts in Education, specializing in Technology Based Education from CA State Univ, Dominguez Hills. She is a member of the Fashion Advisory Board for “TRENDS” Family Consumer Science Department at CA State Univ, Northridge, a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Fashion Business Incorporated and Fashion Group International, Inc., of Los Angeles.
