The Harold & Carole Pump Foundation today announced that Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actor, comedian and writer Anthony Anderson will be honored at the 26th annual celebrity dinner on Thursday, August 20 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event will celebrate Anderson’s commitment to health advocacy and philanthropy, recognizing his efforts to raise awareness and uplift communities.

Anderson has been a longtime supporter of the Harold & Carole Pump Foundation and a dedicated philanthropist committed to supporting meaningful community initiatives. Through his philanthropic efforts, Anderson hosts the annual Anthony Anderson Celebrity Golf Classic, benefiting the American Diabetes Association, Los Angeles Mission and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Best known for his acclaimed role as Andre “Dre” Johnson on ABC’s “black-ish,” where he starred for eight seasons and served as executive producer, Anderson has built a celebrated career across film, television and hosting, earning multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and NAACP Image Award nominations and wins.
Anderson will be honored alongside Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and players Mookie Betts, Will Smith, Miguel Rojas, Andy Pages and Kiké Hernández.
