NATIONAL BASKETBALL INSIDER BRANDON “SCOOP B” ROBINSON ANNOUNCES MEDIA NETWORK LAUNCHING IN 2027
Crossover Media Group to drive sales, sponsorship execution for multi-vertical digital network
NEW YORK, NY / LOS ANGELES, CA — (Oct. 28, 2026) — Premier sports media personality, National Basketball Insider and broadcast journalist Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson has announced a new multimedia digital media network slated to launch in early 2027. Building on the long-running “Scoop B Radio,”#WORDSWITHSCOOP and “The Pull Up” brands, the network will feature five flagship original video and audio programs, a daily digital publishing vertical and direct-to-consumer distribution. Robinson and his partners will reveal the network’s name in the coming weeks.
“From cutting my teeth in radio at 12 years old to building a decade of community with Scoop B Radio, this network is the culmination of a lifelong commitment to narrative sovereignty and authentic storytelling,” said founder and CEO Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson. “For too long, traditional media has separated the locker room from the living room and sports reporting from the actual pulse of hip-hop and lifestyle culture. We are fixing that by creating a permanent home for independent media and providing masterclass-level storytelling.”
The network will bridge athletics, luxury lifestyle, fashion and investigative journalism through flagship programming featuring established voices and culture leaders. Verticals will include basketball and luxury culture, such as tunnel fashion and executive athlete business moves; hip-hop and cultural heritage, with music journalists sharing insider stories at the intersection of sports and music and channels covering other sports, including football and wrestling. The network will also launch a first-of-its-kind women’s basketball channel led by a veteran storyteller, focusing on strategic execution and cultural momentum in women’s hoops. The platform will maintain a continuous online newsroom breaking news and trends to support the video and podcast streams.
Robinson rose to prominence as a sportswriter known for high-access, player-centric storytelling. He has reported forThe Source, Billboard, VIBE, Jet and Ebony and has appeared regularly as a sports contributor on television and radio, including SiriusXM radio Arise News, MSNBC, Complex and ESPN. After leaving The Source in 2015, he hosted a CBS Radio sports show, “Brown and Scoop.” He also served as a senior sports writer for Heavy and joined Bally Sports as a National NBA Insider in 2021. Robinson is managed by Buchwald Talent.
In addition to a strong focus on sports, culture, lifestyle and reporting, the new network will also partner with Crossover Media Group (CMG), a familiar name in multichannel networks. CMG has represented major broadcast brands and talk programs, including prominent broadcast channels and many notable content partnerships with some of the largest networks in the U.S.. CMG also holds an equity stake in the production house behind one of the longest-running and most successful talk radio programs in media history, having broadcasted for over 40 years. In the new, commercial joint venture, CMG will manage national brand integration, sponsor partnerships, host-read integrations and distribution.
“What “Scoop B” has organically built is a masterclass in audience loyalty and cultural relevance,” said Scott Calka, co-founder and managing partner at Crossover Media Group. “In today’s fragmented media ecosystem, audiences are looking to be authentically connected with trusted, deeply engaged communities. By pairing our cross-platform monetization strategies, brand integration expertise and network infrastructure with Brandon’s unmatched access and eye for content, we are establishing a blueprint for modern sports and lifestyle entertainment.”
The platform is in discussions with senior media leaders for prominent roles in executive operations and editorial direction. New hires in video production, broadcast operations and digital journalism will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the network’s launch. Production schedules, official show titles and initial brand partner integrations for the flagship slate will be announced later this fall.
